I Took a Jetpack Vacation to Call of Duty: Mobile's Infinity Realm
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 4 Infinity Realm delivers Black Ops 4 Specialists, a jetpack Chase map, and chaotic Arena 2.0.
I am not what you would call a disciplined Call of Duty: Mobile player. I am the person who hears the word jetpack and immediately forgets every objective, every minimap ping, and every promise I made to my squad. So when Season 4 โ Infinity Realm showed up with Black Ops 4 Specialists, a jetpack race map, and an Arena mode that sounds like a caffeinated board meeting, I did what any reasonable player would do in 2026: I looked back at the chaos and asked, why did I miss this the first time? Yes, Season 4 launched on April 23 at 5PM PT back in 2025. No, I am not over it. ๐

The Black Ops 4 field trip I did not know I needed
The headline for me was simple: a new playlist that pays homage to Black Ops 4 across Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Kill Confirmed. I have fond memories of that era, mostly because I was younger, faster, and somehow even worse at aiming. The playlist lets you deploy as iconic Specialists like Ruin, Seraph, Battery, and Prophet, each with a unique Loadout and Operator Skill. There are eight Specialists in total, with four unlocked right away and four more accessible through progression. Is that a clever way to make me grind? Obviously. Did it work on me? Also obviously.

Chase map: a winter obstacle course with rocket shoes
Then there is the new map for the competitive Chase mode. It has a winter aesthetic, obstacles to overcome, and jetpack functionality that turns the whole course into a beautiful disaster. I jumped in thinking I would be graceful. I came out looking like a shopping cart with a rocket strapped to it. The finish line is the goal, but the real goal is not embarrassing yourself in front of the enemy team. I failed both. Repeatedly. โ๏ธ

Arena 2.0: fewer rules, more screaming
Arena mode got an update that simplifies the ruleset for a more kinetic Battle Royale experience. Instead of a shop, you pick one of three upgrades from drops that trigger character upgrades. Weapons also improve as attachments unlock throughout the match. The format is 1v1v1v1v1v1 with no fixed respawn points, and it is single round elimination. So, no pressure. Just you, five other players, and the sound of your own bad decisions echoing in your headset.
The new Tactical Bouncer class is my favorite kind of nonsense. You place jump pads on the ground that launch Operators, throwables, vehicles, and more. All players can interact with them, including destroying them to cut off enemy pursuit. Do I trust myself with a jump pad in a ranked match? No. Will I place one directly under my feet and launch myself into a wall? Every time. The Wildcard Battle Royale playlist also continued its limited-time run during Season 4, which means more special abilities via Battle Royale-specific Wildcards. Chaos, but make it tactical. ๐งจ

Battle Pass, Vargo-S, and the grind I pretend to enjoy
The Infinity Realm Battle Pass has free and premium tracks with new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and Call of Duty Points. The new base weapon is the Vargo-S, a fast-firing Assault Rifle with good mid-range damage and reliable handling. I used it, I liked it, and I immediately told myself I was a mid-range specialist. I was not.
| Battle Pass highlight | What I got | My reaction |
|---|---|---|
| Vargo-S | Fast-firing AR with reliable handling | Finally, a weapon that matches my panic-fire style |
| Death Angel Alice โ Bloody Mary | Operator Skin | Spooky, stylish, slightly concerning |
| Argus โ Circuit Crosser | Weapon Blueprint | I look competitive even when I am not |
| Woods โ Simulation Alive | Operator Skin | Woods in a simulation? Sure, why not |
| Vargo-S โ Hack Injector | Weapon Blueprint | My new favorite bad influence |
The Battle Pass Subscription also adds monthly rewards, a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls. Season 4 Ground Forces unlocked the Beck โ Night Ops Operator Skin, RPD โ Face to Face Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack 3 โ Face to Face. Standard, Special, and Elite Missions feed the Season 4 Challenge Pass, and Challenge Tokens can be spent in the Exchange on items like the Epic operator Mil Sim โ Mil Punk and over a dozen Secret Caches. Am I doing missions because I enjoy them, or because the little reward bar makes my brain happy? Please do not answer that. ๐

Seven Deadly Sins and the store draws that tempt me
The Seven Deadly Sins collaboration is dangerously on-brand for my impulse control. Two themed Draws offered the Meliodas Operator with the Legendary CX-9 โ Dragon's Wrath, and the Elizabeth Liones Operator with the angelic Legendary BP50 โ Liones's Gracent. You could recruit fellow knights by completing in-game challenges, collect some through milestone rewards like the Operator Darkwave โ Percival and an Epic MG42 Weapon Blueprint, trade extra character cards with other players, and earn special rewards when drawing the Hawk character card. Is this a crossover event or a support group for people who cannot stop collecting? Both.
Other draws included the Pixelated Warrior Draw with a sci-fi Legendary Cipher Skin and the Chicom โ Density Infinite, plus the Digitized Devil Lucky Draw with a masked-up Gunzo Operator Skin and a Legendary Rytec AMR Weapon Blueprint for long-range dominance. The Series Armory Draw brought fiery blueprints like the OTs 9 โ Malebranche, MW11 โ Scorcher, KRM-262 โ Red Fissure, FFAR 1 โ Fire and Fury, and the Vargo-S โ Fiery Hell. My wallet saw that list and quietly left the room. ๐ฅ

Cache Frenzy and the Vault of missed chances
Cache Frenzy ran weekly events across the season, with daily logins, Ranked match challenges, and Cache Frenzy Playlist tasks offering chances at over 50 Secret Caches. The Battle Pass Vault also brought back Season 6 โ To the Skies from 2022 and Season 4 โ Veiling Uprising from 2023, which is basically a museum for my past failures to unlock things on time. I walked in for nostalgia and walked out with regrets. Beautiful, shiny regrets.

Would I recommend Infinity Realm to a friend in 2026? If that friend enjoys jetpacks, Black Ops 4 nostalgia, and the sweet sound of me launching a vehicle into a wall, absolutely. It is a season that mixes old-school Specialists with new-school chaos, and I am here for it. Just do not ask me to be the responsible one with the jump pads. I have a reputation to maintain, and that reputation is falling off the map with style. ๐ฎ",
